May the 4th Be With You
Aunt Pam is babysitting and she brought over the Star Wars movie on VHS and a box of C-3P0's cereal. Fun times!

Story Time. Starring Penny and Jones.
This is Penny, Jones's little sister. She is a Lati White Mystic Bayer head on a Pukipuki body. Her adorable jammies were made by Jen, over at Spampy.
Penny: You are late. You were supposed to read Horton to me 13 minutes ago.
Jones: I'm busy.
Penny: If you don't read to me right now I'm telling Mom that you were playing Pac-Man when you were supposed to be studying for your french test.
Jones: You are very devious for 4.
Penny: You have not even begun to understand the extent of my powers.
Story time is at 7:00. It is now 7:06. Penny is not fond of waiting.
7:09. Still waiting.
7:13. Penny takes matters into her own hands.

7:20. Jones Hears a Who.
Jones: "Because, after all, a person's a person, no matter how small."
Penny: That's right! And that is why I should not have to wait an extra 13 minutes for my story!

New Girl at School
Henry just transfered to Jones's school. She passed him in the hall on her way to lunch and he really wanted to say "hi" to her, but then he dropped his stuff all over the floor. Oh, Jones.

A New Year
Well, my poor blog, for which I had such good intentions, has been sorely neglected. I intend to get back on track. Lottie and Riley's adventures can be found on my Flickr stream, and Jones got a new puppy! "Spock" is from Iplehouse. Hopefully Jones managed to track down a tennis ball.

A new girl has also moved in! She is a Secretdoll Person #21 and her name is Henry (short for Henrietta, but she's says don't even go there). I love how quirky Secretdoll Persons are. Henry was a Christmas gift from my family. I don't know a lot about her yet, but she is 13 years old and loves mysteries. She sat right down at the desk to write her New Year's resolutions. Resolutions are always best with milk and cookies!
I resolve to be better at updating my blog! I am now reaching for a cookie.

The Best Day Ever
Today is the best day of Jones's life. He came home from school to find an Apple II Computer IN HIS LIVINGROOM!!
His Dad is a high school math teacher but he has to teach Data Processing next year because they don't have enough teachers to teach it. Mr. Jones know absolutely NOTHING about computers so the school is letting him keep one at home over the summer so he can learn enough about them to teach it. Mr. Jones says he has no intention of learning anything more than the basics and he will ask Jones if there is anything he doesn't understand.

Jones can't wait for July, when he gets to spend a whole week staying downtown with his Aunt Pam and going to computer programming camp at the university.

No Cherry Blossoms for Jones
The pollen count was really high over the weekend - bad news for Jones, with his severe seasonal allergies. He stayed in and watched re-runs of Star Trek on CBC while his parents took his little sister to see the cherry blossoms in High Park.

High Park Play Dress for Pukifee
The High Park Play Dress is knit seamlessly, from the top down, in lace weight yarn. No sewing up is required!
The dress bodice fastens at the back with a sew-on snap. The bottom part of the dress is knit in the round and there are 2 different stitch patterns to choose from.
The dress may fit similarly sized ball jointed dolls like Lati Yellow, but it has only been tested on Pukifee. Pukifee are 15.5cm tall with a 9cm chest circumference.
